Hyderabad: A young woman who went missing from her house at Bhoiguda in Gandhinagar on Monday, was yet to be traced on Tuesday.
The 20-year-old, who is studying degree at a private college, is suspected to have been upset after her parents scolded her for spending long hours with the mobile phone and on calls.
She left the house saying she was going to meet a friend, but did not return. Anxious parents searched around for her and approached the police.
Based on a complaint from her father, the Gandhinagar police booked a case and are investigating. The CCTV footage from the vicinity is being examined.
