The visit was aimed at examining complaints related to nala encroachments, received during the Prajavani which was held last Monday.
Locals showed photos to the to the Commissioner about the flood inundation due to which nalas overflowing during the monsoon season. The SCB (Secunderabad Cantonment Board) Chief Executive Officer, D Madhukar Naik, who accompanied the HYDRAA Commissioner explained the latter about efforts being taken by the Cantonment Board to prevent overflowing of nalas.
Later, the HYDRAA Commissioner also visited Chikoti Garden and interacted with the locals. The entire nala shrunk due to encroachments, resulting in abutting colonies facing inundation during every monsoon.
