I could not resist being a part of Kabzaa: Alankar Pandian
It was only a matter of time before I got into film production, says Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origin, who has co-produced this week’s release – Kabzaa. “Director R Chandru showed me a glimpses of the film and asked if I could collaborate, and I said yes without giving it a second thought. The way this fim has been made, and, of course, its storyline and star cast were aspects of the project that I could not resist being a part of. The film has already created a good buzz in the industry and I am glad to say that this is our fourth film and with this, we have continued to collaborate with biggies in Sandalwood,” explains Alankar.
Alankar, who has been a part of OTT platforms, and involved with overseas distribution and satellite rights before venturing into co-producing films, is set on producing films independently. “My experiences as co-producer has given me the confidence to venture into production. I hope to be able to bankroll thought-provking films. While Kannada films are a primary focus, I have some exciting projects in Bollywood in the pipeline,” he reveals.
