iQOO Z9 5G launched in India, price set at Rs 19,999: Launch offers, sale date, specs and other details
The iQOO Z9 5G has been launched in India under Rs 20,000. Some of the key highlights of the new mid-range 5G phone are a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, a 120Hz display, a 5,000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and more. iQOO Z9 5G: India price, launch sale offers
The iQOO Z9 5G will go on sale in two configurations. The 8GB + 128GB storage model will cost you Rs 19,999, whereas the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 21,999. The new 5G phone will be available for purchase in India via the company’s iQOO India website and Amazon.
People who have Amazon Prime membership will be able to buy the device in an early access sale at 12:00PM on March 13. For the non-Prime members, the open sale will take place on March 14. As for launch sale offers, there is a​ flat Rs 2,000 discount on ICICI and HDFC bank cards. This will effectively bring down the price to Rs 17,999 for the base model.
iQOO Z9 5G: Specifications, features
The iQOO Z9 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. The handset operates on the latest Android 14 OS out of the box. It features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display, up to 300Hz touch sampling rate and 91.90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The panel has a DT-Star 2 Plus Glass protection as well.
In terms of optics, the device sports a dual rear camera setup. It includes a 50-megapixel primary Sony IMX882 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support. It is accompanied by a 2-megapixel sensor. The camera app includes photography features like Night mode, Supermoon, Pro, Live photo and more. For selfies, the company has incorporated a 16-megapixel sensor on the front.
The iQOO Z9 comes with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging tech. You do get the fast charger in the retail box along with the smartphone. The iQOO phone is IP54-rated, meaning it is splash-resistant. It features dual stereo speakers as well. Moreover, customers will have the choice between two colour options: Brushed Green and Graphene Blue.
