Jaishankar making same mistake as Menon did in 1960s, says Tewari citing Cong leader

In the backdrop of fresh Indo-China tension, Congress MP Manish Tewari took a jibe at foreign minister S Jaishankar’s statement about Pakistan at the UNSC, calling his approach as mirroring the mistake earlier committed by Congress minister Krishna Menon in the 1960s.

Tagging a news report, Tewari tweeted, ” S Jaishankar is unfortunately making same error defence minister Krishna Menon – another great diplomat – made. When the threat is China, he is focusing on Pakistan.”
