KGF fame Yash offered Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part 2 and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Karna? Here’s what we know
The popular Kannada actor Yash gained worldwide recognition when he played the role of Rocky in the period action drama K.G.F. Chapter 1. Yash’s character from the movie created a craze amongst the audience and the actor gained immense popularity not only across India but also worldwide. The actor was then seen in the second installment of the movie, K.G.F. Chapter 2, which also turned out to be a massive hit.
Well, after the immense success of KGF, it seems Yash is taking his time to sign his next project. Reportedly, the actor has not yet signed any upcoming project and amid all the buzz doing rounds about his next movie, a report claims that the actor has been approached for Brahmastra Part 2 and Karna.
Yash has been approached to play the role of Dev in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra Part 2 and also in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Karna. A source told Pinkvilla, “Yash knows about the expectations of the audience and he doesn’t want to let them down, which is primarily the reason why he is taking his own time to lock the next project. He is loaded with offers by filmmakers from all industries, but it’s a matter of zeroing down on something that appeals to everyone and does justice to the legacy of KGF 2.”
The source further revealed, “After KGF 2, Excel is looking to team up with Yash again on something big and special. They have signed up with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for Karna, a mythological epic based on Mahabharata. ROMP and Excel are keen to get Yash on board to play the titular role in the two-part epic.”
The report further revealed that Yash has been offered to play the role of Dev in the next installment of Brahmastra. Yash is expected to make up his mind by his birthday next year.
