HYDERABAD: M Viswaksen won the open category title with 5.5 points from six rounds in the 226th Brilliant Trophy Chess Tournament at Brilliant Grammar School here on Sunday.
Ayaanraj Kothapally and Sarathkumar Nanda got second and third places with 5 points each out of 6 rounds.

In the juniors category, Tarun Sai Thota (Government High School, Musheerabad) won the event by scoring six points from six rounds while Sayyadh Raudah was second with 5 points and V. Sai Kamal third with 4.5 points.
