A passenger, Irfan Ahmed, was arrested at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport after security staff discovered an 8mm live cartridge in his bag during screening. Police registered a case and took him into custody for investigation.
Lucknow: A man was arrested at the Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport here after a live cartridge was found in his luggage, police said.
The cartridge was found on Saturday during a routine security check.
According to a complaint filed by a screening supervisor at the airport, a single 8mm live cartridge was found in the accused Irfan Ahmed’s bag.
A case was registered, and Ahmed was taken into custody.
