A 35-year-old solar panel dealer, Ramanjaneyulu, died of electrocution in Yellandu, Kothagudem, after the panels he was installing touched an 11kV power line while being pulled to a terrace.
Kothagudem: A solar power panel’s dealer was electrocuted at Yellandu in the district on Tuesday.
The deceased Ramanjaneyulu (35) of Andhra Pradesh has been living in Yellandu town at Aam Bazaar area for the past few years and was running a solar power panel’s dealership. Since workers were absent on Tuesday he was fixing a solar power panel at a shop at Jagadamba centre.
When he was pulling the panels onto the terrace of the shop the panels accidentally touched the 11kv electricity distribution line. As a result Ramanjaneyulu suffered massive electric shock and died on the spot.
