Manne Krishank lodges complaint with Human Rights Commission against police harassment
The BRS leader expresses concerns over ‘intimidation tactics’ aimed at silencing dissent on Kancha Gachibowli land row
Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Social Media convenor Manne Krishank, accompanied by BRS Legal Cell delegation, lodged a formal complaint with the Human Rights Commission on Monday bringing to its notice frequent harassment by the police under the guise of investigations related to Kancha Gachibowli forest campaign.
Krishank has been summoned three times in the last nine days and is now required to appear for a fourth time on April 23 at the Gachibowli police station. The summons are linked to his social media posts advocating preservation of the Kancha Gachibowli forest.
The BRS leader has expressed concerns over what he perceives as intimidation tactics aimed at silencing dissent.
