Hyderabad: Malayalam cinema has witnessed a proud moment with the release of L2: Empuraan, an action-packed drama directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, the film has been winning hearts ever since it hit theatres.
A sequel to the 2019 blockbuster Lucifer, L2E brings together a star-studded cast including Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Suraj Venjaramoodu and Indrajith Sukumaran. Produced by Anthony Perumbavoor in collaboration with Lyca Productions and Gokulam Cinemas, the movie has impressed both critics and audiences alike.
In a bold move, Mohanlal and Prithviraj decided not to take any upfront payment for the project. Instead, they signed a profit-sharing deal, which has now turned out to be a highly rewarding decision.
