- Body odour: Your body odour could be one of the reasons why mosquitoes are more attracted to you. Certain compounds and bacteria that are present on the skin can make you more susceptible. The odour of your sweat could also be another reason.
- Colour of your clothes: Mosquitoes are more attracted towards black and other dark colours. Therefore, if you are wearing black or clothes of any dark shade, it might make you more vulnerable to mosquito bites.
- Heat: The heat released by the human body could be another reason. Humans generate more body heat than other species and this is why mosquitoes bite humans rather than other living beings. Some people might generate more heat than the rest and that makes them prone to mosquito bites.
- Alcohol: This is another reason for mosquitoes biting some people more than the rest. People who have consumed alcohol are more susceptible to mosquito bites than the rest.
- Pregnancy: Another set of people who are vulnerable to mosquito bites are pregnant women. This is because during pregnancy, women tend to have higher body temperatures which makes the mosquitoes attract towards them.
