Hyderabad: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s 21st film has been officially titled ‘Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi’. The makers revealed the title on March 8, marking Women’s Day.
The poster highlights a strong mother-son bond, with veteran actress Vijayashanthi playing an IPS officer and Kalyan Ram’s mother. The makers have revealed the poster with a caption, “Every woman nurtures a son. Vyjayanthi IPS nurtures an army called Arjun.”
Directed by Pradeep Chilukuri, who previously made Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, the film features Bollywood actor Sohail Khan as the antagonist, while Saiee Manjrekar plays the female lead. Srikanth and Prithiveeraj will also be seen in key roles.
The project is being produced by Muppa Venkaiah Chowdary, Sunil Balusu, Ashok Vardhan Muppa and Kalyan Ram. Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music.
Following the success of Bimbisara and Amigos, Kalyan Ram faced a setback with Devil and hopes to make a strong comeback with this film. More updates on the film are awaited.
