NCB Officer Involved In Aryan Khan Drug Case Gets Sacked

Do you remember how Shah Rukh Khan`s son Aryan Khan was arrested for the possession of drugs by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the year 2021? This high-profile case created a lot of buzz and made us witness the dark side of the industry. Now, an officer named Vishwa Vijay Singh got terminated by NCB, and the reason will shock you!

According to the latest reports, Vishwa Vijay Singh was a significant member of the team which conducted a raid on the Cordelia cruise in Mumbai where they busted a drug racket. If reports are to be believed, then the NCB authorities demanded an inquiry against Vishwa Vijay Singh concerned to a different case in April 2022 and he was suspended. As per an NCB officer, the investigation determinations led to the redundancy of the officer.

Talking about Aryan Khan`s case, Vishwa Singh played a crucial role in the arrest of SRK`s son. He not only escorted Sameer Wankhede during the raid procedure on the Cordelia cruise but also formed a team of officers when they visited the magnificent residency of the Pathaan star in Mumbai, Mannat, in connection with the drug raid investigation.

Coming back to the case, for the unversed, Sameer Wankhede and his entire team had arrested seventeen renowned and high-profile names related to the case and had seized 13 gms of cocaine, 22 pills of Ecstasy (MDMA), 21 gms of marijuana, and 5 gms of mephedrone along with Rs. 1.33 lakhs during their raid. Among others, Aryan Khan was also there, he eventually received bail on October 28 though. Later on, he was given a clean chit due to lack of evidence. 

Furthermore, all these were followed by certain distinctions during the raid as well as for delivering witnesses with previous criminal records.  In November 2022, the Narcotics Control Bureau Mumbai team was placed under vigilance inquiry. After the inquiry, the department mandated action against seven officers,  possessing their obscurity.
