A voter, who called the MLA on phone recently, urged him for supply of drinking water since most of the villages were struggling due to lack of water supply during the summer. Then, the MLA said that the government will be releasing Rs 2 crore to every constituency in the State to make arrangements for drinking water supply.
When the citizen questioned when exactly the government was going to release funds, Sanjeeva Reddy said that there was no guarantee for anything in this government. When the voter recalled how the MLA had signed a bond paper to fulfil promises made by the Congress during election campaign and his failure to keep the promises, Reddy asked him to come and meet him at his office and abruptly ended the conversation.
