
Event provides opportunity for students from across India to exhibit their innovative ideas, skills
Hyderabad: The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Osmania University College of Engineering, organized MECHARENA-2025, a national level technical symposium, here on Friday.
The two-day symposium being held with the theme ‘Innovate, Automate and Elevate’ provided an opportunity to students from across the country to exhibit their innovative ideas and skills in various events and workshops.
Workshops on 3D printing, electric vehicles and robotics, hackathons on digital design and R&AC were organised. The event also provided a platform presentation of technical papers, live projects besides pitching startup business ideas.
Participating in the inaugural event, department’s alumni and AGNI – 4 Missile project director scientist-G, Dr N Kishore Nath emphasized the need of embracing the new technologies that cater to the career development of the budding engineers.
Vice Chancellor Prof. M Kumar, College principal Prof. P Chandrsekhar, department head Prof. B Hadya, event advisor Prof. L Siva Rama Krishna and student convener R Lokesh among others also participated. Nearly 300 students from across the country have taken part in the event.
