Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf gets married, Shahid Afridi, Shaheen Afridi attend grand ceremony
Pakistan fast bowler, Haris Rauf, on Saturday, December 24, got married to model Muzna Masood Malik. The Nikkah ceremony took place in Islamabad and a number of renowned personalities, including former all-rounder Shahid Afridi and current left-arm fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, were present during the grand ceremony.
Rauf’s friends and fellow classmates were also present at the event. Muzna Masood Malik is 25 years old and completed her undergraduate degree in Islamabad. A number of players, including Shadab Khan, Harry Brook, Afridi and many others wished him on the auspicious occasion.
As far as Rauf’s career is concerned, it kick-started after he performed for the Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League (BBL).
Thereafter, he broke into the Pakistan national team, especially in the limited-overs formats. Recently, Rauf made his Test debut for Pakistan against England in the opening Test at the Rawalpindi International Cricket Stadium.
However, the speedster sustained an injury and didn’t take part in the remaining two matches of the series. Rauf also failed to recover in time and wasn’t included for the two-match Test series against New Zealand.
Rauf also played a crucial role when Pakistan advanced to the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 where they lost to Jos Buttler’s England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Rauf also showed his brilliance and helped Pakistan through to the Asia Cup final in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) earlier this year.
In one Test, 15 ODIs and 57 T20Is, Rauf picked up 102 wickets with three four-wicket hauls to show for his efforts.
