Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif takes a dig at Indian cricket team after T20 World Cup semi-final defeat

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday, November 10 took a cheeky dig at India men’s cricket team after they lost to England by 10 wickets in the semi-final of T20 World Cup 2022 in Adelaide.

Shehbaz Sharif referred to India’s one-sided defeat in the semi-final to England and their 10-wicket defeat to Pakistan in the Super 12 stage of last year’s T20 World Cup while describing the line-up of Sunday’s final in Melbourne.

England and Pakistan, who are the only two teams to have beaten India by 10 wickets in T20 World Cups, are set to face in the final at the Melbourne Cricket on Sunday, November 13.

“So, this Sunday, it’s, 152/0 vs 170/0,” Sharif said in a tweet after India’s loss to England in the semi-final.

India set an unwanted record as they became the first team to be beaten by 10 wickets in T20 World Cups more than once.
