Parents clash with police over teacher misbehaviour against student in Kamareddy; CI, SI injured

Kamareddy: Tension prevailed in district headquarters after parents and police clashed during a protest against alleged misbehaviour by a school teacher on Tuesday.
The clash was so severe that a Circle Inspector and a Sub Inspector were injured and police had to resort to mild lathi charge to bring the situation under control.
According to reports, a large number of parents and relatives of children studying in Jeevadan School situated at the district headquarters reached the school in the morning and demanded the school management to take action against a teacher who allegedly misbehaved with a student.

However, the situation went out of hand and the two groups started physically attacking each other and in the melee, a CI and SI sustained injuries. The police resorted to mild lathi charge to bring the situation under control.
The parents left the school premises after police assured them of taking action against the teacher.
