Pawan Kalyan’s wife Anna Lezhneva offers prayers at Tirumala; donates Rs 17 lakh to temple trust
Anna also donated Rs 17 lakhs to the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust authorities in the name of her son, Mark Shankar
Hyderabad: Anna Lezhneva, wife of actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, visited Tirumala and sought the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. She also took part in the Suprabhata Seva rituals in the wee hours on Monday, April 14.
Officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) offered her a grand welcome as she entered the temple through the Vaikuntam queue complex. After darshan, Anna was offered blessings and Tirtha Prasadam by the priests of the hill shrine.
Later, she visited Vengamamba Nityannadana Satram and served food to the devotees. She also had anna prasadam along with other devotees. Anna also donated Rs 17 lakhs to the Sri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust authorities in the name of her son, Mark Shankar. TTD Additional EO Sri Venkaiah Chowdhary also participated in this program.
She reached Tirumala on Sunday night and fulfilled religious vows by offering her hair to the presiding deity as part of the tradition.
Anna Lezhneva’s visit to Tirumala comes amid the fire mishap involving her son Mark Shankar in Singapore. Shankar was injured in a fire accident that occurred in the school where he was studying in Singapore. He sustained injuries on his arms and legs and also developed breathing issues amid heavy smoke inhalation.
Pawan Kalyan, who was on a political tour in Alluri Seetharamaraju district, immediately rushed to Singapore upon knowing about the incident. The couple, along with their injured son, returned to India on Saturday.
