PM Modi ‘moves faster’ than Cheetah when…: Asaduddin Owaisi
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Wednesday took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that the latter is quicker than the cheetah when it comes to evading serious issues like inflation, generating employment and China transgressing into Indian territory.
In a lighter vein, the Hyderabad Lok Sabha MP said the prime minister “moves faster” than the cheetah when issues like rising prices and unemployment are raised.
“When we talk about unemployment, Modi leaves even the cheetah behind. When we ask about China occupying our territory, Modi ji is quicker than the cheetah,” he said.

“He is very quick in these matters, we are telling him to go slow,” the AIMIM chief said when asked to comment on plans to reintroduce cheetah to the country.
“Wo bolne mein bahut tez hain. I am saying all this in a lighter vein so that the UAPA is not invoked against me,” Owaisi said.
The AIMIM leader made the remarks after arriving in Rajasthan for a two-day trip.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Madhya Pradesh on his birthday on September 17 and witness the shifting of eight African cheetahs to the Kuno National Park.
PM Modi will be releasing eight cheetahs being brought from Namibia into the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh on September 17.
The introduction of the cheetah is not only a species recovery program but an effort to restore ecosystems with a lost element that has played a significant role in their evolutionary history, allow ecosystems to provide services to their full potential, and use the cheetah as an umbrella species for conserving the biodiversity of grasslands, savanna and open forest systems, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has noted.
He also called the recent Varanasi court order in the Gyanvapi mosque-Shringar Gauri case a “setback”.
Owaisi lambasted the Uttar Pradesh government to order a survey of unrecognised madrassas in the state.
“Why are only unaided madrassas being surveyed? Why is there no survey of RSS schools, and the private and government schools,” the AIMIM MP said.
