Prabhas’ Adipurush Telugu theatrical rights sold for whopping Rs 100 crore?
Prabhas will soon be seen in Adipurush, one of the biggest films of his career. The biggie has piqued the curiosity of fans as it reportedly features top-notch production values and a strong cast. Now, here is some big news for those looking forward to the movie. According to reports, UV Creations has acquired the theatrical rights for its Telugu version for Rs 100. Adipurush is a mythological drama, directed by Om Raut.
BIG NEWS FOR PRABHAS FANS
Prabhas, who suffered a setback when Radhe Shyam failed to live up to expectations, is gearing up to turn his attention to Adipurush. The film is being shot in Telugu and Hindi. According to the latest reports, UV Creations has shelled out Rs 100 crore for the rights to its Telugu version. There’s, however, no official confirmation regarding the same. The banner had previously collaborated with Prabhas for Saaho, which opened in theatres nearly three years ago.
ABOUT ADIPURUSH
Adipurush is a mythological drama that features Prabhas as Lord Ram. A fan-made poster of the film went viral on social media a few days ago and created a great deal of buzz among netizens. Adipurush features Saif Ali Khan as the antagonist Lankesh and marks his Telugu debut. The cast includes Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh. Adipurush is set to open in theatres on January 12, 2023.
BUSY TIME FOR PRABHAS
Prabhas, meanwhile, is going through a busy phase on the work front. He will soon be turning his attention to Salaar, which features him in the role of a violent man. It is directed by Prashanth Neel. Prabhas will be seen alongside Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in Project K. Telugu cinema’s Darling also has Spirit, directed by Sandeep Vanga, in his kitty. Prabhas’ film with Maruthi too is likely to go on floors later this year. He reportedly plays a double role in the flick.
