Hyderabad: After much buzz, the wait is finally over. The makers of “Spirit”, Prabhas’ silver jubilee film, have announced Tripti Dimri as the female lead. This comes after Deepika Padukone’s exit from the project.
Tripti, who impressed the audience with her role in Animal, reunites with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for this big-budget entertainer. Her screen presence and performance in the film made her one of the most promising young talents in Bollywood.
Spirit is being jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, led by Sandeep and Pranay Reddy Vanga. The film is expected to go on floors in the second half of this year.
Prabhas will be seen in a powerful role as a cop. With a strong cast and a hit director at the helm, ‘Spirit’ is one of the most awaited films in his career.
