Prashant Kishor takes a dig at Nitish Kumar with 4-photo tweet, then deletes it
Political strategist Prashant Kishor had a pithy comeback to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s allegation that he may be covertly working for the BJP.
Taking to Twitter, Prashant Kishor posted a set of photos that showed Nitish Kumar greeting PM Modi with folded hands and a smile on his face. Though there was no caption, the tweet was an obvious jibe at Nitish Kumar’s previous alliance with the BJP.
The tweet, however, has been deleted.
Prashant Kishor’s tweet, now deleted, showed Nitish Kumar greeting PM Modi with folded hands and a smile on his face.
Last month, the JD(U) leader severed ties with the BJP and formed a new government in alliance with the RJD-Congress-Left bloc. Since then, he has been making concerted efforts to forge unity among opposition parties to trounce the saffron party in the 2024 general elections.

Prashant Kishor was sacked from the JD(U) in 2020. A couple of months ago, he announced that he would focus primarily on Bihar. He also said that Nitish Kumar’s decision to switch allies will have a regional and not national impact.
Denouncing his former colleague, Kumar termed Kishor as a “publicity expert” whose statements have “no meaning”.
“Working with other political parties is his business. Whatever he has got to do in Bihar, does not concern us. Does he know how much work has been done since 2005?” said Kumar while speaking to reporters in Delhi on Wednesday.
