Priyanka to address public meet in TS

HYDERABAD: Days after AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge’s visit to Mancherial, party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is expected to visit Telangana in the first week of May to address a public meeting.
According to party sources, the TPCC was successful in getting Priyanka to hold a meeting in Telangana during an election year when the political temperature has risen, with national leaders from other parties visiting the state.
Earlier, it was speculated that she would be attending the Mancherial meeting as part of CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka ‘Haath se Haath Jodo’ padayatra. However, she may attend PCC chief A. Revanth Reddy’s padayatra from Jukkal in Kamareddy district.
“Revanth Reddy will resume his yatra shortly. One of the towns on the way will be holding a massive public meeting, where Priyanka Gandhi will be attending,” said a senior leader.
