According to the police, Santosh, who works at a company in Maheshwaram, observed that many workers from Bihar were addicted to the ganja-laced chocolates.
Hyderabad: A man who was allegedly selling ganja laced chocolates was arrested by the Rachakonda police on Saturday. The police seized 3.8 kilogram of the chocolates from him.
The arrested man Santosh Kumar (26) a native of Bihar and resident of Maheshwaram was bringing the chocolates from Bihar.
According to the police, Santosh who is working at a company in Maheshwaram noticed that many workers are from Bihar and are addicted to the ganja laced chocolates. “Santosh with the help of Birendar Singh procured the ganja chocolates and sold them in the camp to co-workers. On information, he was caught and 19 packets weighing 3.8 kilogram of the ganja chocolates were seized,” said Rachakonda Commissioner of Police, G Sudheer Babu.
Efforts are on to nab Birendar, who is absconding.
