Hyderabad: The Goshamahal MLA, T Raja Singh has asked the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, C V Anand, to initiate action against Mettu Sai Kumar, Chairman Fisheries Federation of Telangana for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus.
Mettu Sai Kumar, had installed a Ganesh idol at Habeebnagar, which bears similarities to Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.
Raja Singh, said that such actions demean the festival and Lord Ganesh. “With due respect, we understand he is the Chief Minister of Telangana, but he is not a deity for us.
