Hyderabad: Rank Chess Academy has organised a free chess camp on its campus with Academy Director Kandi Ravi conducting the classes.
It was attended by about 20 players who were briefly explained about the history of chess, how chess helps in life in developing concentration, planning, overcoming obstacles, perseverance, patience.
“Many aspects of Chess game, how to improve playing strength were explained in detail. Top games of world champions were shown and explained in detail,” Ravi informed.
“We hope this will be a regular feature to promote chess in a big way amongst kids,” he said.
