Ravi Teja’s ‘RT76’ set for Sankranthi release, officially launched with pooja ceremony

Hyderabad: Ravi Teja’s much-awaited 76th film, RT76, has been officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony, kicking off what promises to be a major festive release. Directed by Kishore Tirumala and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under SLV Cinemas, the film is confirmed to hit theatres during the Sankranthi season in January next year.

The makers unveiled a striking announcement poster featuring Ravi Teja in a checkered designer suit, giving fans a glimpse of the stylish vibe of the film. RT76 is said to be a complete family entertainer packed with Ravi Teja’s trademark comedy and mass appeal.

The project has already caught the industry’s attention not only for its star power but also for its Sankranthi box-office clash with Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming comedy film directed by Anil Ravipudi.

While the female leads are yet to be finalised, buzz suggests that several trending young actresses are being considered. The film boasts a strong technical crew, including music by Sankrantiki Vastunnam fame Bheems Ceciroleo, editing by National Award winner Sreekar Prasad, cinematography by Prasad Murella, and production design by AS Prakash.

The regular shoot is scheduled to begin on June 16, and fans are eagerly looking forward to more updates. With a festival release and a promising team, RT76 is expected to be one of the highlights of the 2026 Sankranthi season.

Ravi Teja, who was last seen in Mr Bachchan, also has Mass Jathara lined up alongside RT76.
