Hyderabad: Ram Gopal Varma, once known as a master of horror, is all set for a comeback. After years of dull films, the director has announced a new horror-comedy titled Police Station Mein Bhoot. The film stars Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role and carries the tagline — “You Can’t Kill The Dead.”
The plot takes a spooky yet funny twist. After a deadly police encounter, the police station turns haunted. The ghosts of the gangsters return, scaring the policemen and forcing them to flee. RGV shared the core idea: “We run to the police when scared, but where will the police run to when they get scared?”
The film promises to mix horror with humor, something RGV hasn’t explored much before. Known for horror hits like Bhoot, Raat and Kaun, RGV says Police Station Mein Bhoot will be packed with cutting-edge VFX and thrilling scenes.
RGV also has another project, Syndicate, a crime action drama, in the pipeline. With Police Station Mein Bhoot, the director hopes to return to form and win back his audience.
