‘You wanted this for so long Missy. What an adventure. We will miss you so much but I’m also SO excited for you.’

She continued to end the heartfelt post with ‘you are a formidable, fabulous, fierce woman and will no doubt make the most of the opportunities that come your way. I love you @missyykeating.’

Missy recently opened up about her big move to Australia when speaking to the Irish showbiz website Goss.ie

She said: ‘I’m moving to Sydney at the end of the month. I’m really looking forward to it.’

‘I have lots of family in Australia, and there are some great agencies out there for acting. I’m really excited to get out there and start a new chapter. It’s time for a new me.’

Before the move, Missy worked as a model and also starred in the Irish version of Dancing with the Stars earlier this year.

And during the interview, she explained her reasoning for the huge career change.

She said: ‘I’ve always enjoyed acting and put it on hold for the last few years as there’s been other things I’ve been interested in, but looking back, acting has always been the thing I enjoyed the most. It’s what I can see myself doing, hopefully, years to come.’
