Rudraksh Singh Khaidem leads India to victory at Asian Boxing Championships, All six boxers reach semi-finals

All six Indian boxers in action progressed to the semi-finals, maintaining the team’s strong performance in Amman. In the men’s under-15 category, Harsil (37kg) and Sanchit Jayani (49kg) earned dominant 5-0 victories, while Sanskar Vinod Atram (35kg) secured a convincing 4-1 win.

Hyderabad: Rudraksh Singh Khaidem led a flawless outing for India on the fourth
day of the Asian Under-15 and Under-17 Boxing Championships, clinching a clinical 3-0 win over Kyrgyzstan’s Aidar Musaev in the 46 kg category.

All six Indian boxers in action advanced to the semi-finals, continuing the team’s dominant run in Amman.

In the men’s under-15 category, Harsil (37kg) and Sanchit Jayani (49kg) secured commanding 5-0 victories, while Sanskar Vinod Atram (35kg) posted a solid 4-1 win.

Prikshit Balahra (40kg) edged out a hard-fought 3-2 win over Mongolia’s Akhmyetkhan Nursalyem. In the women’s under-15 division, Milky Meinam (43kg) dominated Yeldana Abdigani of Kazakhstan with a
clean 5-0 verdict.

The results: Men: Under-15: Quarterfinals: 35 kg: Sanskar Vinod Atram (IND) bt Mahmoud Almatbouli (JOR) – on points 4-1.

37 kg: Harsil (IND) bt Muhammetaly Serdarov (TKM) – on points 5-0.

40 kg: Prikshit Balahra (IND) bt Akhmyetkhan Nursalyem (MGL) – on points 3-2

46 kg: Rudraksh Singh Khaidem (IND) bt Aidar Musaev (KGZ) – on points 3-0.

49 kg: Sanchit Jayani (IND) bt Yu Chen-En (TPE) – on points 5-0.

Women: Under-15: Quarterfinal: 43 kg: Milky Meinam (IND) bt Yeldana
Abdigani (KAZ) – on points 5-0.
