Scindia loyalist takes his blessing before taking oath as Madhya Pradesh minister

BJP leader and Gwalior MLA Pradhuman Singh Tomar took oath as a minister, along with others, in the Madhya Pradesh government on Monday. In total, 28 leaders — 18 cabinet and 10 Ministers of State — took oath, including Tomar.

Before the oath-taking ceremony, Tomar, along with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and others, went to Bhopal State Hanger to receive senior party leadership. At the Hanger, Tomar was seen bowing down to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and seeking his blessings.

Tomar is a Scindia loyalist and was among the 22 Congress MLAs who had followed him out of the party in 2020, leading to the fall of Kamal Nath-led Congress government in the state.

On Monday, besides Tomar, Sampatia Uikey, Tulsiram Silawat, Aidal Singh Kansana, Govind Singh Rajput, Vishvas Sarang, Kailash Vijayvargiya, and Prahlad Patel were sworn in as Cabinet Ministers.

Six leaders took oath as Ministers of State (Independent Charge) and four leaders took oath as state ministers.
