The longest-running Bollywood film in Indian cinema history, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. For those who are unaware, the SRK-Kajol movie still plays every day at 11:40 a.m. at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir. And now, in the lead up to Valentine’s Day, the makers have chosen to rerelease DDLJ in all the major chains in India. You read that correctly! The top multiplex chains in India will start screening Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge tomorrow, February 10.
The movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, is scheduled to have a re-release in India before Valentine’s Day 2023, according to renowned trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He tweeted, “YRF TO RELEASE ‘DDLJ’ AT NATIONAL CHAINS TOMORROW… #YRF will release the evergreen classic #DDLJ tomorrow – for 1 week only – at #PVR, #INOX and #Cinepolis… OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT… #SRK #Kajol #AdityaChopra.”
According to his tweet, multiplexes like PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis will be showing the timeless romance for one week. It would be wonderful for audiences to see the romance between Raj and Simran once more on the big screen.
