Kukunurpally SI Srinivas reportedly forces Srisailam to remove boundary wall, deputes ASI and constable to his house
Siddipet: A man consumed pesticide on Thursday after he was reportedly unable to bear the harassment by the Kukunurpally SI over a boundary wall dispute in Kukunurpally village.
A place of worship was built close to Srisailam’s residence 10 years ago in the village. When Srisailam built the boundary wall along the place of worship, Satyanarayana, who built the structure, approached the police accusing him of encroaching his place.
Kukunurpally SI Srinivas reportedly forced Srisailam to remove the wall. On the same issue, Srinivas deputed an ASI and a constable to Srisailam’s home on Thursday.
When the police tried to convey the message sent by the SI, Srisailam consumed pesticide in their presence. The constable confiscated the pesticide bottle and shifted Srisailam to the government hospital in Siddipet.
Meanwhile, Srisailam’s neighbour Balanarasiah said they were being harassed by the SI. He said the SI even threatened to bind over them if they did not heed to his instructions.
Balanarasaiah said the SI had visited their houses to threaten them with serious consequences. The villagers demanded stern action against the SI for his involvement in civil matters.
