Those who have worked 190 days in underground mines and 240 days in surface mines and departments within a calendar year since joining the organization will be regularized.
Hyderabad: The Singareni Collieries Company Limited(SCCL) management on Monday issued orders regularizing 2349 transfer workers working in the company as general labourers.
Company Chairman and Managing Director N Balram directed officials concerned to issue orders to all the workers regularised as transfer workers. Those who have worked for 190 days in underground mines and 240 days in surface mines and departments in a calendar year since joining the organization have been regularized.
As many as 662 transfer workers got promotion as general labourers in Srirampur coal mines, 552 in Ramagundam-1 area and 467 in Bhupalpally. Similarly, 310 workers got promoted in Mandamarri, 218 in Adriyala Longwall Project area, 50 in RG-3 area, 25 in Corporate, 19 in Manuguru, 12 people in RG-3, 16 in Kothagudem, 9 each in Yellandu and Bellampally have been regularized as general labourers.
As part of the compassionate and dependent job recruitment process in Singareni, the company is appointing those who join the company as first transfer workers. If they complete the minimum muster after working for one year, they are recognized as permanent employees as general labourers.
