
Slovakian tourists visit BRS office, express interest in Telangana movement
Hyderabad: Two Slovakian youths, Michael and Vibiov, who are touring major cities across India, visited the BRS headquarters, Telangana Bhavan, in Banjara Hills on Thursday. Exploring the party headquarters, they expressed curiosity about the party chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the Telangana Thalli statue, seeking insights into the region’s history and political journey.
The BRS office staff guided them through the Bhavan, explaining the significance of the Telangana statehood movement, with photographs displayed on the walls narrating the State’s struggle for self-rule. The visitors said their experience at Telangana Bhavan provided them with deep satisfaction, appreciating the insights into Telangana’s political and cultural heritage.
The duo is said to have visited Mumbai, Jaipur, Udaipur, Maha Kumbh and other places, before arriving in Hyderabad. While enquiring about places to visit in Hyderabad, they reportedly learnt about the statehood movement and were suggested to visit Telangana Bhavan for more information.
