Snake found in Air India plane’s cargo hold, aviation body to probe incident
A snake was found in the cargo hold of an Air India Express aircraft. The reptile was found after the aeroplane landed at Dubai International Airport (DXB) on Saturday. Subsequently, the aviation body of India has ordered a probe into the incident, as per senior officials.
All passengers safely deplaned the aircraft B737-800 which departed from Kerala’s Calicut. The senior official of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that a snake was found in the plane’s cargo hold after it arrived at the DXB. Shortly after the incident, Dubai airport’s fire services were prompted.
Aircraft fumigation is in progress at present.
