Acknowledges BRS working president’s remarks suggesting that Union government must empower those driving growth, not silence them
Hyderabad: BRS working president and former Minister KT Rama Rao won accolades for his strong pitch for fair delimitation at an all-party meeting hosted by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin in Chennai on Saturday.
Taking to X, Stalin appreciated Rama Rao for delivering a scorching takedown of the BJP in a brilliantly articulated, adrenaline-charged call for fair delimitation. He acknowledged Rama Rao’s remarks that, “If India has to become a superpower by 2047, we must empower those driving the growth, not silence them. Our national leadership should strive to heal the old wounds, rather than create new ones.”
Rama Rao suggested that the Union government should act like a big brother, not big boss.
“Stronger the States, stronger the country. Cooperative federalism will make India stronger, not coercive federalism,” he added.
