KARIMNAGAR: Moderate to light rainfall was recorded in different places of the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Friday evening.
Standing crops in a few areas were damaged as the rain coupled with the gale hit different places. The maize crop was damaged in Choppadandi.
The highest of 46.5 mm rainfall was recorded in Pegadapalli of Jagtial district followed by Dharmaram of Peddapalli (42.0), Sirikonda (39.0), Gullakota (38.0) of Jagtial, and Ramagundam of Peddapalli (36.8) mm.
