Stones worshipped by villagers turn out to be fossilised dinosaur eggs

A group of scientists recently discovered that residents of a village in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district had been unknowingly worshipping dinosaur eggs as their family deities for years.

The Narmada Valley area, where the village is located, has been linked to the dinosaur era millions of years ago. Upon the discovery of the dinosaur eggs, local authorities commenced an investigation.

This discovery was made in December, after a workshop of three scientists, Dr Mahesh Thakkar, Dr Vivek V Kapoor, and Dr Shilpa, was held to examine the scientific and development work of the Dinosaur Fossils Park,.
