Superstar Rajinikanth reviews Kantara, says ‘hats off to you Rishab Shetty’
Superstar Rajinikanth is the latest celebrity to shower praise on Rishab Shetty’s Kantara. Taking to Twitter, he wrote that the film gave him goosebumps. Recently, Thalaivar watched Kantara at his home in Chennai and was mindblown by Rishab Shetty’s performance. He called Kantara a masterpiece in Indian cinema and was amazed by Rishab Shetty’s talent as a director, writer and an actor. Kantara recently grossed Rs 200 crore worldwide.
Now, Superstar Rajinikanth is the new entrant to the list. He watched the film at a private screening and took to Twitter to share his thoughts. He wrote, “”The unknown is more than the known” no one could have said this better in cinema than @hombalefilms #KantaraMovie you gave me goosebumps @shetty_rishab Rishab hats off to you as a writer,director and actor.Congrats to the whole cast and crew of this masterpiece in indian cinema (sic).”

Kantara is an action thriller written, directed and acted by Rishab Shetty. The film is about an upper caste landlord who plots against the villagers by usurping their land. Apart from Rishab Shetty, the film also features Achyuth Kumar, Kishore, Sapthami Gowda and Pramod Shetty in supporting roles. The film, which was originally released in Kannada, was later dubbed into Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
