Hyderabad: The Under-17 Cricket Tournament, organised under the auspices of the Telangana Districts Cricket Association (TDCA), will begin at the Physical Education College Ground in Domalaguda on Monday.
This championship serves as a platform for talented rural cricketers, with the best players set to be selected for a tournament in March to compete with the American Cricket Academy team. To support the players and officials of the ten participating teams, TDCA has arranged food, accommodation, and transport facilities.
“The TDCA Under-17 Cricket Tournament begins on Monday. This is the first step in identifying talented rural cricketers from Telangana. The TDCA selection committee will choose promising players for three teams. We will organise matches with the American Cricket Academy team at LB Stadium to help develop international-level competitiveness,” said TDCA president Allipur Venkateswar Reddy.
