A government teacher, Mididoddi Kavita (40), reportedly distressed over her inability to conceive, died by suicide in Kagaznagar, Asifabad. Kavita, also a poet and dancer, had served across the district. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A government teacher died, allegedly by suicide, distressed over not being able to conceive in Kagaznagar town on Friday evening.
Police said Mididoddi Kavita (40), working in a school in Koutala mandal, ended her life by hanging at her residence in Yellagoud Thota around 5 pm. She was said to have been deeply upset for a long time over not having children. Her husband works in the private sector.
A native of Kagaznagar, Kavita had served in various parts of the district and was known for her commitment to teaching. She was also a poet and dancer. Colleagues expressed shock at her death.
Based on a complaint from her parents, police registered a case and launched an investigation.
