Peddapalli: Ambar Kishore Jha assumed charge as Ramagundam Police Commissioner on Monday. He took over from the outgoing CP M Srinivasulu.
Speaking on the occasion, Jha said he was ready to work round the clock to maintain law and order in Ramagundam Commissionerate limits.
Besides extending friendly policing services to the people having good behaviour and conduct, strict action would be taken against the people involved in anti-social activities, he said, adding that strict action would be taken against the land mafia, drugs and ganja peddlers.
Besides local DCPs, people could directly meet him if they have any problems, he said and assured to solve their problems.
Earlier, DCPs C Raju (Administration), A Bhaskar (Mancherial) and Karnakar (Peddapalli), ACPs, Inspectors AR ACPs, RIs welcomed the CP.
