There will be no improvement examination for students wanting to solely improve their English language practical scores
Hyderabad: In a key decision, the Telangana Board of intermediate Education (TG BIE) has decided to not have an improvement examination for students wanting to solely improve their English language practical scores. This will be applicable for both first and second year students.
However, if a student chooses to write all subjects, including all practical exams, to improve his/her performance in second year then, he/she will be allowed to write improvement in English practical exam.
Further, students who completed intermediate first year in other State boards or within the State in a different board (CBSE/ICSE/TOSS etc.,) and took direct admission to second-year should appear for both first and second year English practical exams in the second-year itself.
These students have been given exemption from writing the Ethics and Human Values exam as they will be appearing for both first and second year English practical exams.
The English final practical examinations for both general and vocational courses will be conducted for first and second-year intermediate students on January 31 and February 1 respectively.
Meanwhile, the Board has decided to increase the questions in English paper – I from 16 to 17 adding one match the following question in section-C.
