The latest incident occurred on the party’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, where a 2.07-minute promotional video on the caste census showcased an inaccurate depiction of the country’s map. The video was intended to highlight the Revanth Reddy-led State government’s efforts in conducting a caste-based survey and portray Telangana as a model for other States.
This is not the first time the party has come under fire for such a lapse. Earlier, Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy had shared a video on his personal X account featuring a similar incorrect map—omitting Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) and Ladakh—during the Bharat Summit.
