Efforts will be made to implement the new Act at the earliest, says Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy
HYDERABAD: Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said Governor Jishnu Dev Varma had approved the Bhu Bharathi – 2024 Bill and efforts would be made to implement the new Act at the earliest.
The State government had introduced the Bhu Bharathi Bill to extend comprehensive and better revenue services to people. All measures have been taken to address the land issues permanently, he said here on Thursday, adding that instructions were issued to officials to frame rules and guidelines at the earliest and implement the same. One revenue officer would be appointed for every revenue village. The revenue officials should work as per the people’s aspirations and address all their issues, he added.
Meanwhile, the Minister said evaluation of about 95 per cent of Indiramma Indlu applications was completed. Save for Hyderabad, the evaluation of applications in 32 districts was almost done and in Greater Hyderabad, 88 per cent of applications were evaluated. A special portal, indirammaindlu.telangana.gov.in, was launched for the convenience of people to lodge complaints, if any. Action taken by the officials over the complaint would be shared to the complainant over his/her mobile, the Minister added.
