Khammam: Khammam Catholic Diocese Bishop Dr Sagili Prakash mourned the demise of Pope Francis in Vatican City on Monday while recalling his association with Pope.
Bishop Prakash had visited Vatican City in Rome and met Pope Francis to thank him for selecting him as the Bishop of Khammam. He had felicitated Pope Francis with a shawl and presented him with a photo of the Karunagiri shrine.
He said that Pope Francis had immense love and affection for the poor sections of society and always worked for the welfare of humanity and had also shown affection for prisoners.
The Bishop said that Pope Francis was a person of love who had worked tirelessly for the welfare of children, youth and women. The death of Pope Francis was an irreparable loss for the world and that everyone should implement his resolve with strength and action, he added.
