Following a scuffle with his friend, Narender Kumar reportedly falls into a pit of an under-construction building leading to his death
Hyderabad: A man died under suspicious circumstances after he fell into an elevator pit of an under-construction building in Miyapur on Friday.
The incident occurred when the victim, identified as Narender Kumar (35), a private employee from New Hafeezpet, had come to the construction site for a liquor party along with his friends.
As per available information, Narender and his friend in an inebriated condition had an argument over a trivial matter. During a scuffle, Narender allegedly fell from the third floor into the pit being constructed for an elevator.
He suffered grievous bleeding injuries and was shifted to a nearby private hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
The Miyapur police are investigating if it was an accident or homicide.
